  Exceeded my expectations unlocking files in Excel 2007.

  Cons

  Documentation is non-existent. But, how to use this add-in is pretty obvious. If you cannot figure it out you probably should not be using Office.

  No documentation No install documentation No user documentation Therefore, best for someone who is fearless and can figure out the rest on their own

  Summary

  This software does what it says quickly and easily without malware. If it just had even a little bit of documentation it would be an excellent rating.

  Simple download and install. Does exactly as advertised. Removes Excel passwords.

  Cons

  Download file contains an .XLA file. Double click it to run, and allow macro to run. Macro installs a button in the Excel toolbar called Password2. If your Excel security level is too high, you must lower the level in order to install this product. No install instructions came with product, though I didn't check the web site.

• Good, quick, simiple, but limited

  Pros

  Good software pretty light. I took less than 5 seconds to find a 5 digit password. Not complicated: Just open the zip file click on the .xla file and then choose the file with read only protection. Didn't get virus messages.

  Cons

  It won't help you if you have a password-to-open security. It only works if the excel file is read only and you want to unprotect a worksheet or a workbook
