Access Mac-formatted partitions on Windows systems.
Paragon HFS+ for Windows is the only solution that provides full read-write access to HFS/HFSX partitions on any type of disks (GPT, MBR) under most of Windows versions. Access Mac-formatted partitions in Windows systems with the fastest and most stable HFS driver on the market. It features unprecedented high HFS performance and stability, auto mounting and management via "Disk Management" console, full compatibility with Boot Camp drivers, support for journaling, unified installer for 32- and 64-bit systems, and files and folder with "." as the first symbol of the file name are shown as hidden.
Stopped working after a while. Said 'my trial has expired' (it wasn't a trial, it was a full registered version). Tech support, three days after contacting them, suggested reinstalling the software. Had no effect.
Summary
Don't bother.
Not worth it - do not buy this product
mac2windows
Pros
Basic mounting and read/write of HFS+ drives works most of the time
Cons
- Causes explorer crashes when opening file context menu (right-click) on certain copied files
- Corrupted most of my photo/video library when copying from HFS+ to NTFS
- Software activation requires you to register with Paragon (even if you paid!)
Summary
I bought this product to migrate my data from a Mac to a Windows 10 PC. This product was not able to properly copy my photo library to Windows. It corrupted 100's of JPEGs during the copy. I ended up transferring these pictures properly over the network so there was nothing wrong with the original files. This software also caused my Windows 10 file explorer to crash every time I right clicked on many of the other files that were copied from the HFS+ drive. After uninstalling the software, the crashes stopped. And finally, you can't activate this software without registering with Paragon - they want your personal information, even if you paid for the software!!
Works Great, Transfers Files Between Mac & PC on Ext HD
cafedeville
Pros
On my Windows 8 PC, it Reads/Writes to my "Mac OS Extended" formatted external hard drive.
Mounts the external drive as if it were any other external device without having to open any additional software.
Cons
I can't comment on what the other reviewers were trying to achieve with this software with partitioned HD's, but I have not experienced any file corruption issues personally - and I very frequently go back and forth between my Mac and PC with my Mac-formatted external drive.
Summary
I use this to transfer video files and other assets between a Macbook Pro and a PC running Windows 8 via an external hard drive that is formatted for Mac with no problems. The free trial was plenty of time for me to decide that this was the best software for what I need to do when compared against TransMac. Happily purchased it and received the activation codes immediately.
This app will corrupt your mac installs, DATA LOSS
Pros
There is no pros with this. It will corrupt your files.
It will allow you to view and edit files but then when you try to boot back into mac it will start to give errors and refuse to boot.
Cons
Will corrupt mac partitions and you will lose data.
Summary
You need then to boot with USB drive into Yosemite (or other), then on the top bar access the Disk Utility, choose the disk and press verify disk, and then repair. If you are lucky (like me) the first time it will say it failed, but then let you boot.
Since I didnt understand it was paragon that corrupted my files, I continue to work, then when I boot windows again, it again corrupted my disks more, this time disk utility couldnt repair them, and they also disappeared from windows.
Currently in the time expensive process of restoring everything from backups. Luckly I use Time Machine permanently, so, my files are stored there and also in the cloud via Dropbox.
Since time machine isnt a bootable copy of the disk, I will have to re-create my partitions and reinstall everything from scratch, all because of this piece of garbage software.
BEWARE!!!
Totally disagree with other posts...

Pros
Full read/write access to HFS+ data storage from my PC (Win8).
Cons
Support fro HFS+ will probably be native to the next version of Windows, but we're not there yet!
Summary
This product is great. I was unsure, because of the other posts here on CNET Download, but I gave it a shot anyway and it performed flawlessly. I'm on a long-term travel; brought my Drobo, but it's formatted for my iMac (didn't bring a Mac...). Paragon HFS+ for Windows allowed me to gain access to all my data, and did not compromise my files (I borrowed a MacBook Air to confirm). I'm buying it right now! Thanks Paragon!

Pros
none. the product damaged my system.
Cons
Data loss!
Summary
Using Paragon HFS+ for Windows resulted in two HFS+ devices being corrupted.
In Windows the volumes are still available read and write, but none of the devices' volumes are available in Mac. Disk Utility sees the devices, the volumes are grayed out, and Disk Utility cannot repair them.
Piece of shit! - don't install

Pros
could not get it to read any mac disks that were formatted/created with Lion or Mountain Lion... Win. 7 x64 disk manager listed all the disks as RAW and wanted to format them... maybe the next version will fix this issue... this version is totally USELESS - don't bother even trying it.
