Perform complex calculations and record all entries and operations on a virtual paper tape.

A full function calculator that records all entries to a virtual paper tape (text file). Simplifies checking of one's work and allows multiple results to be displayed simultaneously for a given single calculation. Includes user defined functionality, equation solving functionality, complex numbers, binary, octal, hexadecimal and time arithmetic and importation and calculation of external data sets that include curve fits. Basic statistics include mean, variance, standard deviation, median, mode and root mean square with updated values displayed after each entry is input. Business functions include interest, annuity and loan calculations, present value, bond pricing, depreciation and calendar functions. Math functions include trigonometry, regression analysis, quadratic and cubic equations, prime factorization and given Y, the calculator can solve for X in many user defined functions. Also includes conversion factors, constants and area under curve calculations for normal and other curves. Client timer functionality and molecular weight calculations are also available.

Pros
Small executable and does exactly what it claims. Has a decent but not entirely complete set of functions on it's keypad.
Cons
For beginners with Windows, installation is a manual affair, but, those users probably don't want this calculator anyway.

Pros
Easy to download and use. Informative manual with lots of instructions. Nice scientific calculator. The "paper roll" conveniently shows up to the left and a .txt file is saved with the information. (Would have been helpful when I was running a business to save on calculator roll paper!) The kids will love this for their homework (especially when they can't find their calculators!). I would definitely recommend it - and I'll probably forward the link on to my geometry-teaching sister!

Lack of keypad input is a serious flaw. <p>Not able to resize help screen or use calculator with help displayed to try out advice - minor annoyance. <p>Changing between functions with arrow keys very awkward to use. Add some more buttons, possibly allowing user to switch sets of functions!

Pros
Great idea as an enhancement to the basic Windows calculator. Allows you to even save the virtual "tape" and reload later. Very good for adding lots of numbers.
Cons
It is missing keyboard support... so you cannot enter numbers via keyboard. Just using the mouse which is slower to input tons of numbers. Also it crashed the first time on me when I typed "78+2=". Some VBasic Exception. I think it does have some potential once the bugs are worked out.
