The Pacific Crest Trail Calorie counter is a tool designed to help thru hikers calculate their caloric needs and plan their bounces boxes and other resupply points. Based on the hiker's physical dimensions, pack weight and the selected section of the trail the Pacific Crest Trail Calorie Counter provides the user with the Basal Metabolic Rate and total calories expended on that section on the trail. Additionally, the counter provides elevation and distance profiles for the selected section.The full version includes data for the entire trail, from Mexico to Canada, and has an enabled Print function.
