If you're planning (or avoiding) life with baby, this software will help you better understand when you're ready to conceive. Ovusoft Fertility Software acts as a daily diary to track temperature, cervical fluid, and other triggers so you can establish monthly patterns to best gauge your fertility. The interface is very straightforward, with "good" times marked brightly in pink; when you click a day, a pop-up box displays information or fields you then can fill in with the appropriate data. A clear and thorough manual helps walk you through the steps of using the program. All records can be password-protected, yet you also have the option of posting charts online to share with family or medical practitioners. Overall, this is a useful program for anyone looking to conceive.

great, easy to use
pennyg703June 3, 2011
Pros
simple to use interface, easy to understand explanations, support community and books full of information that contribute greatly to the use of the software
Cons
I have honestly not found any cons in my use of the software
Summary
ovusoft offers fantastic support I have known it to successfully create easy to read cycle charts that help considerably when trying to conceive.
Horrible customer service and message board.

Pros
Not bad for tracking temps.
Cons
Paper tracking is just as reliable. The support on the message boards was the only reason to have the software as then others could see and interpret your charts. Now the message boards are a disaster. Heavy handed Admin and the owner doesn't care.
Summary
Don't wasted your money. Track on paper, much cheaper and just as effective.
Product is fair, but message board admin is a mess

Pros
The software is an easy way to chart.
Cons
The software really needs the back up of the message boards on ovusoft.com to really understand it. The administrators have banned valued, helpful, long time members for something as innocuous as helping a new member find info on a different forum.
Summary
Needs to be used in Yahoo and Google Calendar, and needs ongoing statistics to prove itself.
nikpapagApril 29, 2008
Pros
It accurately predicts fertility.
Cons
Ovusoft should partner with Yahoo and Google Calendar to offer it for free. Ovusoft would receive more money by sheer volume of 10 or 100 times more exposure through Yahoo and Google than from their website fees. It would be a win-win-win situation. Think of all the more people who would conviently use it when they check their email every day.

The software also needs an ongoing verifiably scientific study that documents live, by user feedback, for all to see the success and failure statistics of preventing and attaining pregnancy.
Summary
Initially I was skeptical. But this software is AMAZINGLY accurate!

Pros
My cycles are not always regular so I was doubtful about the software's ability to predict ovulation dates. I've been using this for over a year and it is right on target. Absolutely worth every penny to either avoid or plan a pregnancy.

Summary
My husband and I used this software to both avoid conception and try to conceive. We successfully avoided for one year (using this software as a supplement to Natural Family Planning), and when we decided to try to conceive we succeeded on the first try. This software is terrific and worth every penny!
