Ollama Mobile: Local AI Chat APK for Android

Ollama Mobile: Local AI Chat is a productivity application designed for Android users, specifically targeting developers and teams focused on privacy. This app functions as a mobile client for the Ollama AI framework, allowing users to connect directly to their self-hosted Ollama servers. It supports features such as model selection, markdown rendering with code highlighting, and the ability to attach images and documents for enhanced interaction. With background notifications for lengthy responses, it is tailored for those who require access to AI capabilities while on the move.

The app emphasizes a secure and localized workflow, as it keeps conversation history and prompts on the user's device. Ideal for technical users, it facilitates tasks such as coding assistance and research by providing streamed AI responses. The native Android interface is designed for touch interaction, though it requires a network-accessible Ollama server, making it unsuitable for those without technical expertise or those seeking a cloud-hosted solution.
