• Full version didn't work - Avoid!

  Pros

  Demo version seemed to work in finding the files on my corrupted external HD; however to actually recover them you need to buy the full version, which didn't work for me. It didn't even find the files, let alone recover them.

  Cons

  Emailed them and their solution was to try it on a different computer, I tried it on a second computer and it still didn't work, upon which they told me to try it on another system. Being fed up, I asked for a refund which they have not given.

• Shady Company - Wouldn't Buy

  Pros

  The trial version worked great, until you actually want to recover something.

  Cons

  I downloaded the trial version of the software to recover some corrupt files. It appeared to find them so I bought the full version to recover the files. Not only did they double charge me for the software, but the password they sent me for access rights did not even work.<p>Ever time I emailed them about the double charge, they would tell me that it would be taken care of shortly. It was never taken care of, and now it's too late for my CC company to recover the loss.
