• NoteBurner is like burning a $50 bill. It doesn't work

  None. Customer service is nonexistent and I agree with an earlier post by qwrobins

  Cons

  NoteBurner for me meant burning a $50 bill because the product activation (after the purchase) did NOTHING and after contacting the company, all I got was a "run around" and no fix and no refund.

  Pros

  I bought Noteburner M4V Converter Plus. so far. It does exactly what you advertise it to do. Many convert formats can choose from. I update it to version 5.2.4, until now, it works well.

  Cons

  maybe you can set other formats at 20x speed when we convert videos, like lossless MP4.

  Summary

  It is very useful, highly recommended.

• Program did exactly what I was looking for

  Pros

  Removed DRM protection on iTunes videos I purchased for my kids so I could save it locally and play when I wanted to on our Apple devices or on my local Plex server

  The 1000-1006 errors popped up at first but a quick search led to the answers and in under five minutes I finished troubleshooting.

  Pros

  NoteBurner is the best choice for removing iTunes DRM. Besides, it can convert M4V to various format like MP4, MOV, etc. The most satisfying is compatibility. The program always keeps updates and the latest version works well on Windows 10.

  Pros

  When I first purchased the software, I have to admit, it was a rocky start- the previous version has out of sync problem, and it had a few hiccups. However, the latest version rocks! It does exactly what it's supposed to do without a hitch.

  Cons

  The trial version can only convert one minute of each film.

  Summary

  It is awesome software that I use on a regular basis and I do not regret my purchase. I do recommend it to my friends and I am thankful for the bug fixes and for the customer support. Thank you NoteBurner and keep up the good work!!

  Activation after purchase does not work (many people are having this issue) Tech support does not respond to e-mails

  Beware when purchasing this product. I purchased noteburner for MAC, and it works great, so I purchased the Windows version to put it on a more powerful system for faster conversions. However, when I tried to activate the product, I get an "invalid key" message. I've e-mailed support several times and never got a response. When I went to Google to see if there was a known fix, I found that A LOT of people have had this same problem and also never got a response from the tech support e-mail provided (check noteburner forums). Based on the trouble I've had, I would recommend not buying noteburner at all unless you have $50 to throw away.

• Does exactly the job I need

  Pros

  Converts .m4v from iTunes to mp4 quickly and flawlessly. Once in mp4, I can use any video editor.

  Cons

  Clipping menu is not too useful. Needs a way to select a range of chapters, not just one at a time. Otherwise you need to scrounge for your start/stop timestamps.
