This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Description is misleading: OGL 2.0 support is only for limited number of cards on PCs, not Macs. 64-bit support is only for Win XP Pro64, not macs. Product is not very stable with large models and OGL implementation is extremely slow. Do yourself a favor, try C4D or Modo, before shelling out for this product (which does not have a free demo and depends on HW dongles for protection.)

It has more features than anyone could possibly learn. I find it to be great fun to use, and it has been rarely frustrating for me. I've had nothing but positive experiences dealing with the company. I'm running it both on my Mac G4 and on a PC laptop.

Works much better on Mac OS X with release 8. Good job NewTek, keep up the good work and keep working with Steve Worley so that we can have an amazing next release that eats all competition alive!!! I will say that I like this better than Maya and find it a much more intuitive interface. For those who dislike the interface I simply would have to say that you've either not used it enough or we just have different opinions as I find it quite usable and enjoyable. PS - Note to NewTek: please sink more resources into LightWave (more than you are putting into VT, etc) as you have a true gem. I expect the next Cocoa release will be a marvel!
