In spite of its slim feature set, this free screensaver makes a nice way to virtually visit the Crescent City. This program's images range from street scenes in New Orleans's famous French Quarter to shots of statues found in the town's equally well-known cemeteries. We're glad to report all photos found in New Orleans Photo Screensaver are of excellent quality, though some users may wish for a larger image library and a soundtrack. Although you can't set your own transitions, the app does let you determine the image interval and offers a cool zooming effect. Since this application doesn't cost a dime and lacks the adware found in many screensavers, we can recommend it to anyone who wants to experience New Orleans's unique flavor.
