Nanosaur 2 is a continuation of the original Nanosaur storyline, yet this time you get to fly a pteradactyl who's loaded with hi-tech weaponry, and the game is much larger than the original 1998 game. In addition to the adventure mode where you blast enemy dinos and save eggs, there are also six two-player levels including racing, capture-the-flag, and battle.
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
There are a lot of really rude posters on here. If you have a problem with the software at least make an attempt to contact the developer before trashing them. In addition a *lot* of Pangea's games are free or were bundled OEM on Macs straight from Apple. This goes all the way back to my first Pangea game Power Pete, which was great and included on early Performas. It wasn't a *full* version but I got a lot of enjoyment out of it none-the-less. I also have Otto Matic and Nanosaur all of which I got from Apple bundles and I'm guessing a lot of other reviewers do too. Show a little appreciation for all their hard work, continuous efforts to update and patch games years after most developers would abandon them, and in my experience responsive support. So there is an ad, everyone's gotta pay the bills somehow. I'm paying for VersionTracker and this page is covered in ads. I don't see you complaining about that...
2.0.4 Updated doesn't work either

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
You really should let people know there are only three levels before they buy it. It's an extremely well done game... as was Bugdom. But as others have pointed out... there appeared to be a greater number of levels expectation as a result of your prior creations. I know that I was shocked. There really should be at least another couple of levels added as an update for those who bought this. Great game but waaaaaaaaaaaay too short.
Impressive....but too brief (3 levels?!)

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Did anyone else feel cheated when they discovered Nanosaur 2 was only 3 levels? I know I did. Bugdom â?? 10 levels plus points. Bugdom 2 â?? 10 levels plus points. Ottomatic â?? 10 levels plus points. I see a pattern here. Oops, maybe not. Nanosaur 2, 3 levels and no points.
It was a very fun game â?? loved the graphics and the new challenges, but just way too short. My 8-yr-old daughter was watching me as I finished the third level and she expressed my sentiments exactly (since she is familiar with the other Pangea games), "What happened to the 4th level?"
enjoy it!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I really love Nanosaur 2 - the only problem is that you only have three levels to play (yes, rspress, you're right!). For 25 $ you should get more levels and I hope that Pangea will give us more in the future... (without having to pay more)
Nevertheless, really a great game, that me and my son enjoy very much!
Excellent ...

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Played it for 5 minutes and was hooked. My son 27month old son loves the dinosaurs and spent over ten minutes on the phone with his aunt the next day telling her about the dinosaurs and "hit a tree and go boom" and that "daddy not good at flying".
I'm sure that after the test round it won't be appropriate for him so that's where his watching will end :)
It's such an easy game you get the hang of it quite quickly!
BTW, thanks for the .Mac discount! What a great deal!
Awesome!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Fantastically responsive, scenic, and fun. Beautiful without the 3D glasses; but since you're flying, having true perspective vision adds immensely to the fun and your maneuverability. (And the way the smoke trails get in your face is pretty freaky.)
This is a great game!
The BEST game
