Add the files you want to rename into the application's work area (also via drag-and-drop!), then select text elsewhere (your editor or browser) to be dragged to the files to be renamed.This application came from a need to rename lots of multimedia files based on titles found on the net. Yes, those kinds of files. What would normally require between four to five steps to rename files, Name Dropper reduces it to three, all by just using the mouse.The quickest out-of-the-box method:1. Select text for new name2. Control+C to copy3. F2 to initiate file rename4. Control+V to paste the new nameThe direct-but-still-long method:1. Select text for new name2. Right-Click on text3.
