• Works and is easy to use, great ITunes video converter.

  Converts AVI and MKV to MP4 Easy to use Convert singly or in batch, with batch parameters Works fine in the background Works fine on Win 7 Home Premium which I have. No crashing problems for me.

  Cons

  Don't know if I can upgrade to v3 with my v2 license Probably not the fastest option out there, but then I just start it and minimize it for later.

  Summary

  I use this primarily to convert videos for viewing on IPad, IPhone or Apple TV via ITunes. Sometimes I need to downsample MP4 if they are 1080P into a lower res. It works great, I can: Pick the IPad presets, specify the output resolution, retain aspect ratio, and specify a subtitle track (if I want that to be converted in as part of the video) for inclusion in the MP4 output. The output videos can be shared via ITunes. So, that's all I need. There are a lot more options I never use.

  Cons

  Tested on Win7 64 Ultimate: medium quality conversion of a 90 min TV movie (mpg) to mp4 format estimated 3 hrs. Ridiculuous. Free Xmedia recode does it in 30 min.

  Keep your hands off and save your time.

  I purchased the full version and all it does it crash on my system. The CNET Download also hijacked my browser. This is really the worse thing I've ever purchased on the internet. BUYER BEWARE.

  Pros

  Quick download, easy to use, just one popup to remind you to purchase. I am still on the shareware sample. Seems to have full capabilities. Quick and easy to use for both conversion and rotation of stupid cell phone setup.

  Cons

  None so far.

  Summary

  I would recommend this to any PC user that has a "smart phone".

• Unhappy with product

  Pros

  I was impressed with the write up and review of the product and did a purchased. Purchasing was the best part of the activity

  Cons

  The product never accepted any licensekeys provided. Uninstall /reinstall made no difference. Full product unable to register fully on my Windows7 laptop. Like to know if others saw this refusal of licensekey to register the full purchased product.

  Summary

  No use for a prduct that will not install correctly.

  Won't even start on my Vista Ultimate system. Windows closes it because it acts like a VIRUS in the way it uses memory.

  Looked easy and straightforward enough but just didn't do what it said it would do.

  Didn't do anything except take up memory on my computer.

  Added the file to be converted and then it said it didn't support that type of file. SAAAAY WHAAAAT!? Can you say uninstall? erase, erase, erase.
