• Piece of trash!!!

  Pros

  Looks professional and knows what to do.

  Cons

  Hijacks files the first time you run the program and alters them to whatever it thinks is appropriate. Took me hours to restore all the changes made.

  Summary

  The program just started doing things before letting me tell it what exactly I wanted. All I wanted was to organize one folder into several sub-folders, not move them to a different location altogether and start renaming them. I am still attempting to restore all that was done, once I figure out which were moved, copied, or renamed. It's initial configuration wizard needs to ask you if you want a database set up in the first place, not just do it without asking. I know what I want done. It can ask me, but not do it and then not tell me. Media Player is totally confused about what is where.

• Decent program for small collections, crashes regularly

  Pros

  Has the ability to work with collections of music, re-organizes by any method you choose. Album, Artist, Genre, etc... Also, will handle non-music files too.

  Cons

  I don't like the fact that it crashes constantly on Vista Home Premium Has trouble with large collections (127 Gigs) Doesn't delete duplicates even though program says it will. Won't let you re-organize within same folder,defaults to ..My Music

  Summary

  A little pricey for this application, user support from the company is slow at best, doesn't provide solutions just refers you to a website, and doesn't work nearly as well as I had hoped. Personally, just purchased an iPhone and iTunes wasn't helping with music organization, I have multiple Genres, Artists, and some music that wasn't copied well. I wanted to organize all this and cleanup folders. Guess I now have to keep looking for a new program.
