Gather up and rename large amount of MP3 files.

The MP3 Renamer allows you to gather up a large amount of MP3 files, say from a library. And rename their filenames to a cleaner filename. This uses either the preset Artive-Title.mp3 layout in filename rename mode. Or a user selected template for ID3 renamer mode. That's right, the filenames can be made from the existing filenames, or the ID3 tags found inside the files themselves. This program allows you to select what is removed from the ugly filename and what remains, as well as the option to update the ID3 tag after renaming. You could use it to clear all the ID3's if you want, it's just that flexible. Or, if your one of the people who like to have control, but don't want to clic on each file to bring up a rename dialog, this program offers a User entry mode for the filenames as well. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
