• MMW takes your money but gives no unlock key.

  Pros

  trial seemed to work but some features required buying/using unlock key, which is fine but I paid, they NEVER provided it, NEVER responded to email or phone. theft!!!!

  THEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I paid and they NEVER sent an unlock key. They NEVER responded to a dozen emails and phone calls. Total ripoff

• Nice Piece Of Music Software

  Pros

  I just played around with this product for only a short time and I believe it is just like any other piece of software that just take some getting use to. So far it seem to be pretty good in Aiding me in my Productions.

  Cons

  Don't accept files in "MP-3" format to generate notes from vocals. No changeable skins.

  Summary

  Very nice piece of software to Aide in Music Production and to bundle with that I already have such as "Making Music in Word" in which is a lot like this program. I like the fact that you can add Tracks and record them only only into Midi format but also Wave. Has a nice and clean sounding Sound Engine.

  Pros

  Nice interface. Can quickly enter songs using the keyboard to adjust notelength etc.

  Cons

  Limited ability to have longer notes.

  Summary

  Overall I liked the look of the product and the easy with which I could fill out the score. Unfortunately the first piece I tried to enter had notes that were longer than a whole note. The help says it automatically ties notes that cross bars, but the longest note you can have is a whole note. I read the help, and tried some work arounds like attempting to use a slur to join the notes, but in the end I gave up and unistalled the software. If you never need a note longer than a semibreve, then this software may be perfect, but as far as I'm concerned if it can't do that then I just can't use it.

  Pros

  Version 3.92 operates very well, and the site says that you may use the software in three computers at a time - for which I recommend that you require the corresponding unlock codes from support service in advance.

  Cons

  I bought the software and the site says I can use it in 3 computers at a time, but when I asked the unlock code for installing the software in a new computer I never received an answer.

  Summary

  Though the software works well, version 3.94 has a problem, and if one intends to keep version 3.92 to avoid the problems, an unlock code is required to work (otherwise the trial version expires). The site says you can use the software in 3 computers at a time, but supplementary unlock codes for this purpose are never furnished by support service - which is indeed very dishonest.

  Pros

  Great tutorials and added extras for importing of different forms of music - even your voice.

  Cons

  A little rigid at first, you have to take your time with this one, but it is worthwhile. This software is not necessarily for someone who has no musical background or is not already able to read music.

  Summary

  The many abilities tied into this software make it easy to see why it is so well liked, and the tutorials are very helpful in initial use. Take your time when starting with this program, you'll find that it's worth it.

  The voice to music feature is what I wanted, and it really did not work well at all. I haven't found anything that works any better though. When you exit it takes control of your mouse and makes you click on a link to their website, which pretty much makes me not want to buy it right there because of being annoyed while trying it. I spent about 2 days doing different things trying to get something close to what I wanted out of it. No dice, can't reccommend it.

  Pros

  It's fairly simple to start creating your music. It seems to have the functionality you'd expect from a sequencer.

  Cons

  The user interface has been quickly thrown together without much thought. It reminds me of the days when I used Windows 3.x. There are a few bugs with resizing the screen which can get a bit irritating. I don't like the one long continuous stave per track/instrument. The stave isn't closed at the end so it's not always obvious when you're at the end. There is no selection cursor so beware of accidentaly inserting notes. <p> <p>If you're evaluating it, there is a time delay exiting the software durng which your mouse is continuously repositioned over the "Buy Now" button. The length of the delay increases with each day you evaluate the software. <p> <p>If you have used more expensive software, such as Sibelius, it will probably be best not to try this program.
