MultiSafe is a free software program which purpose is to protect your sensitive data. It combines file encryption with password managing with one single global password to make it simple yet secure for the user to store data such as passwords, bookkeeping and other sensitive data. MultiSafe uses an encryption technique which secures the data even if the password is compromised as long as physical access to the users computer is restricted. This, in practice, means that even if an attacker would get remote access to your encrypted files aswell as your password by, for example, using a keylogger, they would not be able to access the actual data. Therefore the security is very high even with one single password.
