This space-efficient utility makes it a snap to split MP3s but offers little in the way of features or additional functionality. The crude interface is visually unappealing but easy enough to use. You simply select a file to split, play it from within the application, and click the starting and end points for your new clip. However, we wish the program supported additional codecs beyond the one found in its name and let you configure the output file's audio quality. You can immediately hear your new file with the quick press of a button, but you can't split more than one file at once. We also would have preferred a waveform view for performing more precise edits. MP3 EasySplitter will do for the most basic audio-extraction tasks, but, needless to say, it won't thrill experienced users seeking a high degree of control.

Choose your starting and end points and split an MP3 file into playable segments.

Split your MP3 files into smaller, playable segments without losing any quality. Multiple split options are included, split by choosing your start and end points while the song is playing, or simply choose the byte position that you wish to start and end with, and your new MP3 segment is created automatically based on your selection. You can also use up and down arrows to easily adjust your split sound segments higher or lower, and you can fast forward, rewind, or play your new MP3 file immediately. Easy to use interface walks you through the steps. No quality is lost, as the new MP3 is always created with the same quality as your original MP3. The original MP3 file is also never altered or changed in any way.
