  Very few and a major step backwards over our previous software, Modulus, which sadly is no longer available

  Cons

  The rollback facility is barely useful as it give very little information on the transactions. Don't make any mistakes as rectifying them is impossible without creating 2 new entries

  Summary

  This is a really great program. Anyone looking for real accounting software for the Mac should look no further. The tech support (via email in North America) is superb. I have not needed much support over the year and a half I've been using Moneyworks 6 because it's a really well-done program. However, it is so versatile that once in a while I need help, since the manual, while great, can't really cover everything it can do. When I have needed help, the response has been fast and accurate and my issues have usually been quickly resolved. I recently had a problem that was a little more difficult to figure out, and once again Feda in tech support came through! He was patient and diligent, sticking with it until he figured out my problem. I highly recommend Moneyworks 6.

  Easy to use icons, easy customisation of forms, great looking templates

  haven't come across delivery notes yet, that doesn't mean they're not in there it's just that I have only had the program for a few days and am still learning- I'm on the trial version and will def pay for the full version

  Summary

  Looks really silky and professional, nice to get away from the wasted man hours in mucking around with MYOB and get into a program that seems to fit like a glove. This program suits my business down to the ground, I buy and sell product and stock too, working in multi currencies and Moneyworks Gold handles all of that and more!

• Version 6 is Super software and fully featured

  Pros

  The new version 6 is very slick. This sotfware is very fully featured and very suitable for medium sized as well as small companies. Cheap for what you get and no year on year charges.

  Cons

  Occasional unusual language such as account receivables and accounts payables instead of Debtors and Creditors. Email support but in defence they have been quick to answer problems.

  Summary

  We were MYOB users and were looking for a replacement we went with Moneyworks Gold and was pleased with the new software. It even had a facility to convert an MYOB datafile into Moneyworks.After just six weeks it was upgraded free to Version 6 which was a major upgrade. It is now awesome. The drill down is superb even able to click on bar charts and see the underpinning information.We looked at Sage but are delighted with our choice. . So far no problems.Moneyworks is very slick software and great value. It has no year on year software support and we would not hesitate to recommend it for businesses

• Very good software

  Pros

  Very fast. Transactions all in front of you in the transactions screen.Extensive provision for computations and searching. Have found nothing I can do in another accounting program that I can't do in this one.

  Cons

  Takes a bit of time to get used to if you are used to another accounting system. Many useful subtleties not immediately apparent beneath the program defaults.

  Summary

  Fast Powerful. Intuitive. Have been involved with accounting programs for many years and believe that this is the best accounting program that I have used.
