None of substance.
Summary
In a world of computer generated, word processed and color enhanced communications, few icons on a desktop are more valuable than the assistance to communicate with flair and dignity.
Acronyms, abbreviations and ghetto sludge, maybe fine for those with the brain of a dust mite, but in the real world, to communicate wisely, speaks volumes of your intellect and intelligence.
Yes online dictionaries and thesaurus sites are available, if you don't mind limited resources with unlimited advertising. Pros
Tolstoy, Shakespeare and Ludlum would have better described their mental agility with Moby's help.
Cons
Going to the extreme they do is a way to compare their saner alternate choices.
Summary
I've been using iMoby since its inceptiopn - every author needs to be able to nail their meaning the first time.

howardferns
Pros
Extremely fast search, and results appear to be quite comprehensive.
Cons
When I did test searches on it, the results were just the same as one or two online thesauruses.
Summary
I tried Moby in my search to find the "perfect" thesaurus to meet my requirements. I was a bit dubious about adding yet more Mb in the form of software to my computer, and good though Moby is, I found it no different from a couple of online ones i'd just looked at. As I only want a thesaurus for occasional use, I didn't see the point of cluttering up my sytem with it when I could bookmark one of the near-identical online ones. Therefore I have uninstalled it.
A wonderfully inspiring tool to expand and unleash
trancegroup
Pros
Moby Thesaurus is amazing for synonyms, adjectives and derivatives which provide like textures, similarity in sense and depth as well. It is a source of inspiration and its right click menu accesses your dictionary for immediate verification.
Cons
would be great if it had antonyms and a reverse look-up though this is not a fault
Summary
One of the best word-oriented utilities ever, and there are not many applications which can be used for everything. It is in the same class as programs like wordweb pro and roboform. If you want to bring new life to your writing style, just scramble some letters and find similar spelling for a word you never knew exsited and throw that into Moby to find all the possible ways you could sound more intellectual. All kidding aside, it just works like it was meant to which is great.
No thank you, not if I need Microsoft.NET.

Pros
Cons
I'm sure this program works well, but I don't care to have that kind of connection to Microsoft again. Having one caused too much damage to my system and inconvenience to me in the past.
Summary
Excellent stuff, easy to follow than other dictionaries.
