Incredibly useful more than 10 years after release

- I didn't want it, and it was installed without my permission.

- I installed some software and was careful to do the "Custom" install and not install any of the extras, but this appeared anyway. I see a little advantage to what it does, but nothing that is not available in other ways, that don't suspiciously install themselves without your knowledge.
