  Its awesome, I've searched for tons of words on here. :D<p>extensive library, good definitions, and it even lists phrases with the word that you've searched for.

  Cons

  my only dislike is that you can't search in romaji since i have to switch back and forth between languages on my computer. but even still it's not that big of a draw back since I can just click a button and type it out in hiragana.

  Easy to use, romaji or hiragana or kanji input. Very extensive word bank. Fast searching. The "common" word markers are quite accurate and very useful for any language learner wanting to maximise the usefulness of their limited vocabulary.

  Cons

  I only wish you could search multiple words. In this version, no spaces can be inputted into the search, while many results contain multiple words. You can still find them, but often the search is not as specific as it could be.

  Excellent! Arigatou Kenichi-san (^_____^) <p>This is definitely the best free J dictionary I have ever used, and I am reccommending it to all my friends studying Japanese. It's heaps better than any other freeware I've tried out. <p> <p>It's extremely comprehensive. Search for a word, and it shows many different senses, and plenty of grammatical information. Often you can get information on things like whether or not it is usually written in kanji or furigana, how polite it is etc. <p> <p> The dictionary file comes from Breen Online dictionary, a site I use almost everyday. I love it, but unfortunately the site has an awkward interface. Minikyou on the other hand has a pretty and intuitive interface. just type in a word or part of a word and it brings up a list of exact matches and similar matches.

  Cons

  None, but I have one suggestion for improvement. It would be useful if you could put in wild-cards like * and ? <p> <p>E.g. Im***ve <p> <p>It would make searching for words that you only know half of easier.
