  Lots of editing needed to make the output readable. Keeps changing key, uses excessive accidentals and staff lines.

  Summary

  Like anything garbage in = garbage out. You'll want to use a single track when you go to notate. But even then, expect to be doing some cleanup. Finale Songwriter might be a better option - but it's not free.

  30 day trial! Sometimes skips and dosent stop; At that point you have to X out, which could get annoying if you didnt save and are editing lyrics or something

  I've been looking everywhere for something like this. I dont read music well, let alone write it. I do though, very much enjoy composing music on the piano/keyboard. My keyboard has a USB flash drive so I can transfer my USERSONG from the device as a midi sequence file to the computer. I opened from the file menu and I sat back and watched and listened to my music, and the notes, being played

  The program does anything it is supposed to do, and I haven't had problems with it yet. Each new version release comes with major improvements and addidions, and the support is great. I can't wait until the next version... Just try and see!

  Does what it says, and does it well. My sequencer print options aren't so good. This program allows me to make those little extra tweaks.

  This is really a remarkable program except it is of little use to many because of the MP3 crackdown which took the Midi's with it. Hardly anything to download anymore except classical and amateur songs.

  I use this mainly for combining staffs, which is extremely inconvenient in Noteworthy composer as the rests and all the notes overlap each other. If you want music sheet, I'll suggest Noteworthy composer instead because the great musical fans' site only supports .NWC. This little trail can provide sufficient use for me. Thanks!

  Unfortunately I'm looking for more of an editor - but if all of the editing programs I've purchased and/or tried looked this good when showing the completed score, I wouldn't be looking any more! Multiple staffs, multiple notes on a staff (even of different duration - the main sticking point in my quest for a great editor), and numerous other features make this the top-looking program. You can perform simple editing features to improve the look of an existing MIDI file.
