Sound Recorder can also record audio from a microphone or headset, many modern sound cards allow their output channels to be recorded (the loopback channel or similar).You can control what to record, not just microphone input but also the output channels. You can for example play radio and record that.You can record Skype phone and similar conversations or even Youtube. Whatever you can hear, you can record. Nothing on it is any good.

Or better yet - don't install it at all..Junk Doesn't do what it says it can, especially on Vista 64 bit systems.

I coulnt get it to work correctly,personal its crap..I I wouldnt even think of recommending....Windows XP already hade this on it and the record qauility is alot better..!!! All I can say is 'NEXT'!!
