Mediocre but ESSENTIAL Outlook Add-In for Hotmail Users

Pros
Outlook Connector is an essential add-in for pre-2013 Outlook if you want to access your Hotmail or MSN email from within Outlook. BUT THE VERSION OFFERED HERE IS OUT-OF-DATE! There is a newer version. Look for version 14.0.6123.5. The version downloaded here is actually 14.0.5xxx.
Cons
Three Major Issues: 1. When Outlook Connector works, it works great. But Outlook Connector is prone to breaking...and then you will lose connectivity with your Hotmail account (no emails) or Outlook won't sync properly with your Hotmail. 2. When Outlook Connector breaks, it is nearly impossible--and even impossible--to fix it to work properly again. For that reason, I had to abandon Outlook 2010 for Thunderbird email client. 3. MSFT abandoned development of new Outlook Connector versions...so as web email technology changes, the LEGACY Outlook Connector breaks down easier.
