Step 2: If instructed by the version checker, Get Microsoft Office Service Release 1.

Step 3: When you have Service Release 1, Download SR-2b Now!

Service Release 2b Download Instructions: Office 97 Service Release 2b (SR-2b) is an update to Office 97 that delivers all of the Year 2000 product fixes developed since the release of Office 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2). For a complete list of product updates in SR-2, read the Knowledge Base article OFF97: List of Fixed Problems in Office 97 for Windows, SR-2.

IMPORTANT: If you have previously installed Office 97 SR-2, you should only install the following two Year 2000 updates for Outlook and Microsoft Jet 3.5:
