Developer’s Description

See relationships between different place values in numbers.

MHX Place Value Tutor is a simple stand alone program that allows student/users to see the relationships between the different place values in numbers. In this program students will see why numbers in the thousands place are larger than numbers in the hundreds place and etc. The program will generate three random numbers to compare which numbers are larger and smaller. That way, students can practice comparing numbers by looking at the numbers in specific place values from ones to hundred millions. This program is designed for the Canadian expression of numbers, meaning instead of separating thousands places and millions with commas, the numbers are separated by small spaces.
