FileSearch is a multi-threaded documents searcher. No indexes need to be updated; no background service is required. The more you have drives the more search speed is increased thanks to its multi-threading technique.
seems fast, easy interface, lots of filter options, quick to set up for fast searches
Cons
no real help files
directory wildcards--can't figure how to work it
Summary
I feel it's too easy to receive inaccurate results.

Pros
Professional screen design and easy to use.
Cons
I feel I too often received incorrect or incomplete results.
Summary
1) Don't use * as in XP search. At the beginning or end of a search argument, leave blanks;
2) An * within the search argument brings UNpredictable results. ONE blank space is more reliable (perhaps fully reliable) WHEN YOU CHOOSE the "all the words" search option.
3)IMPORTANT: If you have selected "all the words" search option and you receive a program message saying that your search must be processed as a "regular expression" instead, CANCEL THAT MESSAGE. DON'T click "ok". Then YOU click the "regular expression" option and start the search. The program itself did NOT supply valid data for me. I did not receive the correct search results when I clicked "ok".
4) Cannot see underscores as a part of file names in the search results field.
5)Most error messages are for programmers only. No user guidance here.
