Display the last few lines of your log file in real time with multiple features.

Similar to the "tail -f" of Linux. Makelogic tail shows the last few lines of a growing log file in real time. Features : - Tail multiple log files in a single MDI window - Search the log files. Current and all open. - Simply drag a log file and drop into the application window. - Highlight chosen set of keywords in different colors - Keep track of the most recently opened documents - Cascade or Tile the log file windows. Version 2.1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Pros
1. Works fine in win 7 but starts with errors. 2. Real time update of the log files

1. Doesn't come with exe file. Should manually extract the files
Summary
During installation it creates a shortcut to the folder which contains the jar file. Steps to follow for windows users 1. Open command prompt and check whether you have java installed (type java - version). 2. If it shows the currently installed version then navigate to the path/folder where the software is installed in the command prompt 3. use the following command to execute java -jar MakeLogicTail.jar else open a notepad java -jar <full location>MakeLogicTail.jar and save it as batch file. If you double click the batch file it will automatically load the application :)

Pros
I don't know if there's anything to like -- I wasn't able to get it to work.
Cons
I downloaded the software and ran it from the Start menu. up pops a WinZip window listing a whole bunch of jar files. No tail program, only a list of jar files. I don't see any harm being done, it's just that I see absolutely no value to the (program?).
Summary
Good program, but must make a complete shortcut for the menu.

Need to complete the shortcut to menu. <p>Windows to view different files have to big title bar, so you need full windows to see more than 3 files at same time.
