wouldn't know because it can't find any of my bloody files

i get the dreaded error [Cannot find the device "New Volume" (No.: 205124644)with the file in any of your drives. Please insert the disc into the drive or connect the drive.] doesn't matter what you do.. it will not find them.. you can't edit the file location or do anything to solve it.. no support from MAGIX re this...

All was well up to Ver 17. See Con below!

I had no problems with Magix MP3 versions up to version 17. Then a problem occurred preventing me from using the software. 1st, I loaded in a CD and was able to play a music file and then a second music file. Then when returning to the same file or any of dozens of other music files loaded in, none would play. Each time I would get a message [Cannot find the device "New Volume" (No.: 205124644)with the file in any of your drives. Please insert the disc into the drive or connect the drive.] Even after deleating the files and reloading the CD, or other CD's the results was the same. Was unable to play any files. Was never able to reach anyone at Magix by phone (305-722-5810). Response is always the same, their busy, call back later, or something to that effect. When support is non existent, the product becomes useless.

I wanted a program to manage my MP3s and I use some other Magix programs so I gave this a try. It works really well. I have been using it for my audiobooks as well.
Cons
None so far.

Perfect for storing and handling masses of mp3s. I've searched for a prog that organizes all my music-files in a useful way. works perfect! Also, you can rip new music into your libary or put them on your mp3 player. it even works with my ipod nano.
Cons
Mufin doesnt work quite well, but it's ok because i've got a huge libary. And the idea of mufin is just amazing, better than send private data to some servers or something liek other progs do! ;-)

I've used many other products but this one in particular seems to cover all aspects of a "state of the art MP3 maker". it presents the user with many useful features (like automatic playlist editing) and many others.

None, that I can think off.
