However, the fast-paced nature of the arena battles in MageTrain can sometimes feel overwhelming. While the avoid-running-into-things aspect adds a unique twist, it can occasionally lead to frustrating moments where a promising run is abruptly ended by an unavoidable collision. This, coupled with the potential for uneven powerup distribution, might leave some players feeling that luck plays a slightly larger role than desired at times.

The Roguelike Replayability, while a core strength, can also feel repetitive if early hero unlocks don't offer enough variety. While each run promises a fresh challenge, the initial pool of heroes and abilities might not feel distinct enough to encourage immediate repeated playthroughs for all players. A greater variety of starting heroes or more impactful early-game powerups could alleviate this potential sense of early-game sameness.
