  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Although I find the product a bit expensive for private home use (luckily I was able to buy it for a 60% rebate), it works perfectly for making payments through Swiss Bank and Post accounts. The documentation is very good and explains in detail what each payment type is for and how to fill in the data fields with real-world examples. The software will help you find bank clearing numbers and will automatically fill-in town names based on their post code. I am running the software on Mac OS 10.5.2 without any problems. It is very easy to retrieve archived payments and to analyse them. Payments can be tagged with keywords and put into categories. Set-up of accounts easy.

Saves me time and money with the optional integrated MoneyPen reference number reader. My company couldn't do without it ! Have been using this software for years without any problem. Developper is really fast in answering questions and implanting improvements, they even customized it for the specific use of my company. 5 stars definitely !

It is is well finished and has only been released after extensive testing, including public betas. I've had plenty of support from Quartesoft, always very responsive and to the point, nearly round the clock. MacPay does what it says it does, with an excellent support of all possible banking transactions. My Moneypen scanner works like a charm. A special mention to the archives whre one can easily find its past payments with numerous research criteria built-in on top of free search. Export to major accounting programs is available too. The manual is thorough and well written, very professional. All in all this new product is worth the long wait we had to endure with the previous Classic version, MacPay 2.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br /><p> is an invaluable tool for anybody living in Switzerland and who wishes to pay his bill electronically.</p> <p>I'm a user of MacPay since it's first release, back in the days when videotext was fashionable. I must admit I've never had any problems, except those triggered by changes of data format, or browser support. But those were all the banks, or the Post Office fault.</p> <p>QuarteSoft has grown into a reliable and competent company. It was not always the case, but you can go ahead with them now in confidance.</p>
