Launch Windows programs or execute shell commands at any given specific date and/or time.
This program will launch Windows programs or execute shell commands at a specific calendar date/time or at a specified day of the week. The program is designed to be simple to use and is perfect for launching your metrics programs each week or executing backup commands. Unlike the Windows task scheduler, M2 Launcher can execute shell commands. It has full online help and is free to download and use. Version 2.0 adds auto-restart upon program start. This allows the timer to maintain state after a server crash.
Task Manager can easily execute shell commands if you direct it to a batch file, and it can start theoretically any file as long as there is a program there to run it (it can even restart your whole computer if you want it to, although that's a bit more difficult)... There is no need for this program.

Task manager can't execute shell commands, this program can. This comes in handy. Don't have to program any chronos, saves time for me.

Why do people learn to create programs for windows BEFORE they even know there way around windows? This is a waste of hd space & memory you probably already have task scheduler running, use that.
