  If you want to allow companies that "participate" with the LTCM program to send you promotional messages, you might find the program useful.

  Cons

  LTCM invites spam, spying and adds yet another running application to your system's startup procedure and daily operation. The description the manufacturer provides makes it sound much more benign and desirable--as if they're doing you a favor and allowing you to filter the messages you get. Once you realize that the program can only add to the number of marketing messages you already receive by email and other sources, you'll probably want to uninstall it. After it is uninstalled by the uninstaller that comes with it, LTCM leaves an "LTCM Client" folder and 3 subfolders in your Program files (x86) directory.

  Looks like an exploitative program that invites advertisers and spam into your life.

  I trusted CNet's download recommendations, even tho there wasn't a description available of what this program does until AFTER I downloaded it. Didn't expect CNet to sell out for weaseling this sort of thing into people's computers, probably in exchange for a promotional fee. Looks like the program brings advertisers into your life and then allows you to organize the junk mail in categories. WHO THE HECK WANTS MORE SPAM AND MORE DISTRIBUTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFO? The promotional hype spins this as allowing YOU to taking control of valuable information you wish to receive. That's offensive. I deleted the program. Maybe I got it wrong, but there was no documentation readily available to clarify if this program was for something better. SHAME ON YOU CNet for putting this download on your list with valuable downloads like security updates and program patches.

  So, whats to like about this? I guess it helps pay the bills. Which is a good thing.

  Cons

  We are drowning in a sea of ads. How can this help a business? I think they must be working on an ad program that will reach out and smack you in the back of the head to get your attention.
