Loud Ringtones features a gallery of sounds from police sirens to trumpet calls and, though not all are of high-quality, most of them won't disappoint you. While this app's claim of providing "the loudest ringtones available for your Android device, hands down," is questionable, one thing's clear: This app can make noise. The most annoying thing about it, though, is the fullscreen advertising.

Loud Ringtones comes with a straightforward but rather unappealing interface, which features 45 different sounds you can use for ringtones, notifications, alarms, or to assign to a contact in your address book, by just long-pressing their icons. The sound quality isn't consistent: While the Bugle Reveille sounds great even at the highest volume, sounds like Fog Horn or Party Horn are too short, which means that if you're a sleepyhead, they probably won't serve even as alarms. On the plus side, the app features several variations for common sounds like Police Car Siren, Fire Truck, and Trumpets.

Overall, Loud Ringtones does what it claims, providing you with a selection of noisy sounds. Not all may be suitable as ringtones or alarms, but most of them are fine. In the end, if you're willing to put up with the ads that from time to time take over the screen, then you should try this app. Use it responsibly!
