AudioRelay: Stream audio & mic is a versatile multimedia tool designed to turn your Android phone into a wireless speaker or PC microphone. It bridges the gap between your desktop and mobile devices seamlessly, routing high-quality audio back and forth over Wi-Fi or USB with minimal delay and setup effort.

Whether you need a quick hardware replacement for broken headphones, want to stream music across room boundaries, or wish to monitor audio remotely, AudioRelay: Stream audio & mic delivers an accessible solution with impressive versatility for daily multimedia users, making everyday wireless listening and sound sharing smooth and effortless.

Getting started with the app is delightfully straightforward thanks to its user-friendly setup. Powered by the efficient Opus compression codec, AudioRelay: Stream audio & mic transmits desktop sound with surprisingly low latency over wireless networks. For an even snappier, lag-free experience, connecting via USB tethering completely eliminates minor network stutters, making desktop gaming and video playback remarkably smooth, consistent, and thoroughly enjoyable overall.

High performance streaming

Beyond basic desktop-to-phone streaming, the application offers flexible routing features. You can listen to both PC and mobile sound simultaneously, control device volume remotely from your desktop, and use your phone as an input mic. However, phone-to-device audio streaming requires at least Android 10, leaving older mobile operating systems out of the loop for that particular high-value feature during everyday use.

While the free version covers everyday streaming needs remarkably well, key limitations exist. Unlocking multi-device playback, custom buffer tweaking, and ad removal requires paying for the Premium upgrade. Free tier users must also contend with microphone time limits during sessions, which can disrupt longer calls or recordings unless you purchase the full version for an unrestricted, completely seamless audio experience.
