Lotto Sorcerer claims to help you make better guesses at the nightly lottery picks. We were impressed with the program's tools and options, but ultimately weren't convinced that it was capable of picking winners.

We were not blown away by the program's interface. Even though it was simple to navigate and came with an instructional Help file, the layout felt a decade old. Regardless, we soon discovered its positives, like automatically pulling lotto results from any state and any specific drawing. We were shown several years of results and then the program provided us a guess about today's drawing based on those prior lottos. It took well over a minute to calculate its guesses, which felt slow. We were given a series of probable guesses, but we weren't really convinced. We were never given a simple explanation as to how this was better than simply guessing numbers ourselves, but didn't check our nightly lottery numbers to see if was accurate. The program's excellent feature, the Frequency Distribution chart, was actually more helpful, as it mathematically broke down what percentage of the time each number appeared. We were not surprised to find each number appeared about equally, which once again encouraged us to simply guess our lottery numbers.

Lotto Sorcerer has a 12-use trial. While the program operated as it promised, we weren't convinced this was the answer to winning millions and do not recommend it.

Fairly easy to use.
Cons
Manual updating of the lotto database is awkward. Online updating requires you to pay a subscription.
Summary
It's fun to use on a strictly casual basis. Don't take any lotto program too seriously.
Doesn't live up to the hype. Severely lacking.

Pros
Had promise. Gave a good line about neurologic scanning at a higher level. Sounded good. Nice layout easy to navigate. Maximized the trial by leaving open all day since start/stop would click off available trial launches.
Cons
Major problems ?? if doing what says, backtesting raised serious issues. Report of strength lvl analysis has SAME #'s hot, warm, cold on 18-134 strength lookback. On 10 draw lookback, Cold # pic'd 3x where no hot# pic'd 3x. Same h/w/c mix in picks.
Summary
Don't trust the software. Appears to be more of a random # generator, possibly withing the hot/wm/cold # mix but the numbers noted as hot/wm/cold NEVER changed despite the strength level taking more results in the analysis. I did extensive testing, erasing at least a month data and working forward with strength at 1,4,8 levels. 1, which reported used the last 18 tended to be moe accurate that other levels, but not significantly so. The neuron analysis appears to be more marketing fluff than anything else. Uninstalled it from my computer before trial was up and moved on. If warranted, had planned on an extended look with a second download on a different computer after this one expired but not wasting my time.

The Import Data utility needs improvement. Yes, it's better than any other lottery software, but, still, I can't import data from my lottery without some serious "massaging" of the data.

Pros
Does a good analysis checking to see if there are any patterns in the numbers. Due to the numbers on the balls, etc. some numbers seem to hit more than others. If there is a pattern, Lotto Sorcerer will find it. Easy to use!
Cons
Insufficient documentation. I haven't had it hit yet, but will keep trying and perhaps increase the rating or this software at that point.

it has a good strike rate which closely ends up with 4 out 6 numbers from time to time

it is automatic with little left for the user to do other than click the generate button they should have given the user a little more control over the software!

Pros
The bottom line is, I want to win the lottery. During the evaluation period, I won $822, getting five out of six numbers. That's something I've never done before. I also appreciate the fact that it's easy to use. I haven't even looked at the User Guide yet.

I wish it could print the playslips.
