Effective and flexible, LogMeister proves itself a useful tool. Point it toward log files and the program will collect information, generate reports, and react as you specify. For instance, you can receive an e-mail alert when you get more than three error messages within an hour or when nothing new has appeared in the log over a certain period of time. LogMeister can also be used as an RSS reader. The service component allows monitoring even when you're not logged in. System administrators and others monitoring a variety of log sources will find much to appreciate in LogMeister.
