This screensaver is part of an official series from New Line Cinema featuring stills from the recent film adaptations of J.R.R. Tolkien s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. In this screensaver poor-quality sepia-toned images of Frodo s hometown of Hobbiton appear within a hazy, iridescent view that makes them difficult to see. Even Lord of the Rings die-hards will find the lack of additional features disappointing, especially since there s no way to slow the frantic pace of the slide show. We also missed a musical accompaniment, especially the films stirring score. Tolkien trufans collecting the other screensavers in this series might want to give this one a pass.
