If you're seeking a good 3D simulation of billiards, check out Live Billiards Deluxe. The ball movement seemed very realistic. Our only complaint about the graphics is that the table edges looked a bit too sharp. The sober luxury of the surroundings creates a relaxing environment. You can choose not only the background music, but also the pictures on the wall. The interface is compact and handy. The controls almost make your mouse feel like a real cue. You can view the table from above or from a first-person view, though you and your opponent are invisible. You can play against the computer or against human opponents over a LAN and on the Web. We couldn't get a complete idea of the game because the trial version only offers the three-ball game. Judging from the trial, though, billiards lovers of any level should enjoy the game.

Pros
Very nice graphics I think better looking than virtual pool. 3DL Very smooth .Add your own mp3 music to a game.
Cons
I would give it 5 stars but i didn't because online playing is limited to you and a friend sharing same isp server that you create.
Summary
They do have there own public server at terra games. But it's not free. This game cost about $20.00 then to play online and join their public server cost $45.00 a year. Because of this outrageous price no one plays online. If they made online playing free .I would give it 5 stars

Summary
Ok, maybe that's a little harsh. But some of its features seriously bug me. First and foremost, mouse speed doesn't seem proportional to cue force. At times you can pull the stick back and can't even strike the cue ball! It doesn't allow you to look around the table (except overhead) without changing aim. That's not so bad since you can get back to your original position with the aiming aid. The aiming aid is pretty nice. It even color codes all the balls' paths. But it's not very helpful for bank shots and its solid line graphics are seriously Mystery House (circa 1979) quality. That's disappointing considering the generally polished look of the rest of the game's graphics. Be careful trying to apply backspin. Using the E key for english and top/backspin can cause the balls to follow paths that are non-physical at best and generally bizarre. It'd be nice if a windowed mode were available.
Don't really like it

The game has lots of bugs. First, the menu is broken. Second, no background music is included. It's hard to hit the ball with the mouse, and it moves slow. I think they should at least fix their menu.
