If you use different browsers, this handy little tool will keep all of your bookmarks in one location for easier access. We were impressed by its easy-to-use interface and overall solid performance.

LinkCollector opens with a professional, straightforward user interface that will appeal to all users. At the top of the window, you'll find two fields for entering a bookmark description and for the URL. Below that are tabs representing each of your browsers. The program automatically syncs your bookmarks upon installation. The import and export feature worked as it should, and the search functionality let us quickly wade through all of our bookmarks to find what we were looking for. We especially liked the link verification option, which let us verify all current and new links, as well as delete all of the broken ones. The options menu lets you create hot key combinations for snagging links and for hiding/showing the program.

We have to say, this was an exceptional bookmarking tool. The 30-day trial period is plenty of time to get acquainted with the program and we recommend you do so. It cleanly uninstalled from our PC.

What’s new in version 4.6.5

Version 4.6.5 includes ability change position for each bookmark and categories.

User interface is NOT straightforward.

It was a free giveaway of the day March 24, 2013!
Cons
I have been looking for a bookmark manager (since IE's version is awful and clumsy) but the silent videos are not enough to get a user started with this program.
Summary
I want to give this program a try and it has great capabilities but the user curve is HUGE.
Shows enough promise that I anted up for it.

Pros
Straightforward functionality. UI is clean and spare. Light and speedy. Very few failures.
Cons
Possibly a bit too simple. UI could be improved. Status checking and favicon location need refinement.
Summary
This is a nice little piece of software -- good enough that I switched to it from the bug-ridden, cycle-hogging Link Commander. It doesn't do as good a job of status checking as AM-Deadlink, though. It falsely reports failure on some sites with wierd returns. Its approach to handling favicons is superior to AM-Deadlinks, but it doesn't search quite as deeply and it's slower than AM-Deadlinks at refreshing icons for lack of multi-threading. All in all, I like it. It just needs a bit of refinement.

I would prefer a list of links more explorer's style with folder and subfolder interface. <p>I couldn't found how import my Explorer Favorities or Firefox bookmarks
