...sampl<br />This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I have used earlier versions of this package and it worked though it took much effort to make it work. The 4.x series is a failure in terms of its designed use. It simply does not work well after jumping through the many hoops to step through the process of using the Native Instruments service. I would load samples from other providers that were using this player to host their samples and the player would quit working after several minutes of use. The software notion application I use could never load this player properly without the Aria player failing to work. I simply can not take any sample set seriously that uses this software. If I use this player, I do not want iffy-ware that has a built-in dodginess for the sake of promoting another NI product (Kontakt). I do not care about Kontakt, I need the samples I have to work and until NI makes their player work, I can not use this software in any professional applications. Additionally, the download link does not work. I get a partial download but never the complete installer. Again, another failure from NI.
