Koala helps you to create a self bootable USB thumbdrive installer for Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server System 2008 (and now, supporting Windows 8!). Koala is extremely easy to use. You just insert your thumbdrive, an installation DVD of Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows Server System 2008, three clicks and you're done. The tool comes in six languages: English, Italian, Arabic, Korean, Japanese, and Russian.

Worked perfect, no issues.

Simple to use, put Windows 7 on flash drive to load OS on a mini-pc without an optical drive. Worked smooth as silk, no problems with the OS install. Can't beat the price.

I already used this tool some months ago, to make a few Windows 7 USB installation drives for me and family. Now the new version is even better, it also supports Windows 8 DP (and runs in Windows 8 DP too!). A must have tool.
Did not work for me. It could not find the DVD/CD drive

I'm on a Thinkpad T500. Koala did not detect my DVD drive. It did not detect a mounted ISO either (I used magicISO to mount it) So I could not use it.
Summary
Did not detect CD/DVD virtual or physical drive, so I couldn't use it.

interface could be more appealing but this is room for improvement rather than a con because it is straightforward and simple already

didn't expect it to work as other programs such had failed me but Koala transferred my windows 7 set up from disk to USB perfectly!
