A safe place for my youngest to use the internet.

Pros
Very secure and comprehensive design. Completely abstracts out the windows environment to an easy to use interface. I'm tempted some days to set it up for my parents!
Cons
Would like more flexability in controlling access from a remote location.
Summary
Having a mixed family with kids ranging from 8-20, it is important to me to segregate intenet use for my youngest. KidStarter gives me the confidence to know that my son has a safe place to learn and explore without the risk of stumbling upon the "dark corners" of the internet.
Makes my computer safe for my little ones!

Pros
Piece of mind that my kids are safe while using the computer. Easy to install and configure. Computer use timer.
Cons
If you have a lot of games on CD or DVD it can take a while to add them all.
Summary
As a parent of three (five, three and newborn) KidStarter is perfect for my family. With KidStarter installed on the family laptop I feel comfortable letting my kids play alone on the computer. I know that they won't be able to delete any of my family photos or go to any websites that I don?t approve of. I also really like that KidStarter can be setup to limit the amount of time my kids are allowed to spend on the computer. There aren't any more fights to get them off the computer once their 30 minutes a day are up; KidStarter takes care of it for me.
