• Corrupted one disk

  Does encrypt the entire drive

  Cons

  If you unplug a removable drive, it is not encytped. You must encrypt before unpluging. Customer support sucks. I have 2 licenses. The software corrupted an external drv. Had to reformat. Then Lockngo would not install on drive.

  Summary

  I am switching to Excade. Don't waist your money on this Lockngo Stay away

  The theory was great and the demo looked cool.

  Cons

  Hard to follow the order procedure. Did not arrive right away. Hard to install. After it was installed it didn't work. A real waste of time and money. I paid for it and never got it to work at all. What a waste of time and money

  Pros

  It's a great program for easily encrypting your USB-drive. No hassle, easy to use.

  Cons

  No NTFS-support. Larger (1GB or more) USB-sticks benefit a lot if they are formatted with the NTFS-file-system. Lockngo, however, does not support this filesystem which limits its usefullness to small USB-drives (512MB or less)

  Pros

  This program is really simple to setup and operate. It runs directly from the memory key so you don't have to install anything on the PC. Several levels of encryption provide a practical tradeoff between speed and security level. It warns you if you unplug the memory key without locking it, which is very useful. A must for anybody concerned about their private data.

  Cons

  No support for NTFS, only FAT and FAT32. I guess this is more relevant to large hard drives.

  The best thing about the software is that is locks your device and unlocks it is an easy and friendly way. Once you install it you are ready to go. <p>If you buy media and want to sleep with no worries, this software will do the job.

  None as far as I can see.

  I used Lockngo and was very happy with it. Now I found the added values of the professional version and upgraded. The extra features I got worth every penny - it remembers last password, can make a full drive Encryption and more.

  I love this product! I first discovered it by accident 2 month ago - I've since bought 2 more new usb keys for my partners in the office (we are Lawyers). One of the first things I made is installing Lockngo before putting data in it !! I've recommended it to anyone who will listen! I can't say enough about 'lockngo' only to those who does'nt want to learn about protecting their data in the hard way.......

  I am not a technical specialist and cannot value all its aspects, but what is surely is that it is very easy to use program. I bought it 2 weeks ago for my wife as a gift for Christmas. Though she is not very familiar with computers she use it without questions.
