Macros and keyboard shortcuts are nothing new, but many shortcut programs are too complicated for the average user. In contrast, this launcher makes it easy to set up shortcuts that launch applications, visit Web sites, paste saved clipboard data, and even control MP3 players.

Using Keyboard LaunchPad is a cinch. First you create new hot keys with a few mouse clicks, or by just dragging and dropping shortcuts, files, or folders into the main window. Next you assign a key combination that triggers the hot key. Then you apply actions to each hot key from a pull-down list of commonly used actions such as linking to a shortcut or URL. You can add actions to the list with plug-ins once you purchase the full version.

All in all, Keyboard LaunchPad is a practical, powerful, and easy-to-use utility. Our only complaint is that the trial does not provide enough hot keys or actions to test the more advanced features.

Only uses below 1000k memory usage when idle.
Cons
After you use a hotkey assigned, usage jumps to about 6000k. Although, this is still low compared to other hotkey programs. Also, if you open it's configurations, and then close it, it slide back down to <1000k. This should be automatic.
Summary
I like my background programs to be as light as possible. Stardock is one of the best at making programs use less memory and I recommend this program to all.

It makes every-day tasks so much easier. The autofill built in to Internet Explorer/Opera isnt nearly as good as the functions this provides.

I have used Keyboard Launch Pad for a long time now. This is my third purchase for use with a new machine. I felt so lost without it when I started this machine having to type all details many times instead of "Hot Keys". Although Vista Premium does have an Autofill feature it does not cover everything that can be done with Launch Pad.

Awesome prorgam, I have a ton of hotkeys setup and I really couldn't think of anything more useful. Impressivly easy to use too - Great buy :)
