  was deactivated by qualcomm Apparently they took over for this company and shutdown that server see Google.

  -Calls a real phone number. It shoud use internet for Skype calls. -Gui is not very pretty -Has not been updated for two years or so

  High cost considering skype to skype has always been free as far as I can remember. First time I have ever had to pay for a skype chat!!!!!

  Summary

  This is the second posting I have posted, for some reason my first was removed. Perhaps because its not profitable to let the customer know they are going to pay standard mobile rates for poor quality connections. I have pay as you go T-Mobile with unlimited internet yet my 6.5 minute skype to skype call was charged at £0.87. I assume that a contract phone would have minutes from the allowance removed. What a total rip off this application and the company who run it are pulling.

  I'm not very technically minded and expect when you click download, files download and there's a button to click through to.

  Pros

  iSkoot works great to be able to call or IM your Skype contacts without having to be online on the computer. The IM works well and all chat conversation histories are visible in the Skype chat logs on the computer. Calls are easy to make as well.

  Cons

  Problem receiving Skype calls on my Blackberry when the Skype account call forwarding feature is on. Calls go to my Skype voicemail not to my Blackberry. Call conversations are a bit distorted. Install may change some of you Skype profile settings.

  Summary

  All in all a good substitute for Skype while on the road or traveling abroad. Well worth the price. I get more use out of the BB IM or my text messaging service than Skype IM on my Blackberry because of the problems I experience with the Skype call forwarding. I highly recommend iSkoot for outbound Skype calls... It will save you a lot of money making long distance calls.

  Ability to access Skype on my phone, ease of use.

  Call clarity is somewhat muddled, takes a while to load contacts.

  Summary

  I like it because I can call my Skype contacts without being on a computer. The ability to be mobile and still keep in touch is excellent.
