  Pros

  No need to have the files present on my computer to make changes to the music tags on my itouch. More editing functions than I know what to do with. Very comprehensive means of getting song info from the internet.

  Lack of eye-candy, plain presentation, and where is the help documentation??

  Summary

  One of my buddies loaded up my itouch using copytrans, which I had test-drove and was prepared to buy until I stumbled on this. My buddy doesn't care about tags too much and what blew me away was all the different ways I could make changes directly to the tags on my itouch, something copytrans doesn't have. Also, copytrans required iTunes to be installed and I wanted iTunes GONE. Although this app still needs the Apple drivers to work I was able to FINALLY get rid of iTunes. I was disappointed in the lack of any help system, but with some exploring I was able to figure it out. It's actually pretty close to iTunes in certain ways, but without all the extra junk I don't want or need and a layout that's different but more practical. Are you listening Apple? One thing that really impressed me is the automatic and manual internet music lookup, haven't seen anything as comprehensive as that, but the artwork resolution isn't the greatest. Then again, I'd rather listen to my music than look at it. I'm a huge fan of playlists and what I find very useful is the different ways I can filter-down desired songs and add all of them in one shot without dragging everything over to the playlist. When it came to adding my own music to my itouch, what I found very cool was the ability to pick and choose what tracks I wanted from an add folder operation before starting a lengthy copy process. Last but not least, I wanted to copy the tunes my friend added to my computer and the thing is actually capable of creating structures out of artists and albums based on the new tags I applied to the songs. Nicely Done! Definitely worth the money I paid not only to banish itunes from my computer, but also for all the extra bells and whistles. I highly recommend this.
