IP Hider's modern main window makes disguising your IP address a walk in the park, although your walk will be briefly delayed when you go online. The program shows a list of available proxies on a drop-down menu and then places the usable proxies onto another drop-down list once you test them. We successfully hid our IP with the program, but only with Internet Explorer. (Although IP Hider also has Netscape, Opera, Mozilla, Firefox, and Avant on the list of browsers supported, the only one available for testing is IE.)

Annoyingly, you'll have to put up with a 10-second delay when you start your browser or hit the home page button. Why? An informational page from Codeen, the proxy server system, comes up before you're redirected to your requested destination.

Scheduled tracks cleaning for your history, URL bar, cookies, and temporary Internet files are included, though IP Hider didn't clear any of them for us when we hit the Cleanup button. You'll like IP Hider's masking skills, but its supplementary features are a bust in the trial version.

No trial, says you can't connect

It is a piece of crap.

I have no PC left. Windows is being blocked. I have a virus named MS_ERADICATER_EXPLOIT_FOUR and LSAS_KEYLOGGER and ADW_POPAD and Win32 VirTool and Conflicker virus Also Trend Micro Titanium is corrupted. My computer no longer boots up after that incident right before the failiure of IAANOTIF.exe and regedit.exe. Also one more thing I had a blue screen of death when I installed it then I got another one forcing me to restart (just before the failiure of my computer) my computer did not start again. Also when I downloaded it I got about 160 binary files each sized at 1MB and another 25 binary files each sized at 190MB and another 3 binary files each sized at 500MB and 1 Binary file sized at 1GB. No technical support or refund.

Very disappointing and repairs were costly. I was not refunded or helped by them at all. Im asking for refund and no reply. I asked for technical assistance but there was none. Four words to sum this up: FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!!!!!!!!!! I give 0.5 stars out of 5. I really wanted though to give it a 0 but Cnet won't allow you.

They dont allow you to use one proxy as any vpn with username and password and this I find wrong since they get money from you so still you have the right,but they want to over control you yes like that silly character from cartoons that wants to go insane controlling the whole world.

It does not work. It hacks into your Windows registry and blocks you from using any other browser than Internet Explorer. This software should be removed from CNET. I'm re-installing Windows. I suspect above comments are right about it being a virus. CNET please remove this programme.

It makes your browser dramatically low,like a`low motion camera but in direct relates to ip hider here are its main cons: 1-Its just 5 countries (too little) 2-Most of them have only one proxy 3-The proxys fail a lot and if you ask them to fix it they dont do nothing,so all in all it half works and is half a freaking failure from hell 4-There is always something wrong is not fully functional and charming thing,the engineer that does this nearly dont give a dime 5-Too expensive for what it actually does

Worthless software to hire<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Nov 30, 2011<p/>If you hire this service because is a service is not something you keep on ur stuff,you have to be carefull on how you use this because if this sort of thing is important for you and you dont know how to use it you will find out ip hider lost its configuration and the result of this that you cant just resinstall it because it wont work again so you have to be ready to format your computer to co-exist with this product or on other words live and excell with this is hard so you have to be carefull how you use it
