Gain/loss on investment transactions is calculated using either the average or FIFO cost base method and this information can be used for tax planning purposes before year end. Investment transactions and stock values can be imported from virtually any website and data can be exported for further spreadsheet analysis. Among the special tools available is a net worth calculator used to prepare retirement scenarios.
